Undergraduate Admission

If English is not your native language, 你必须在雅思(国际英语语言测试系统)中提交一个可接受的分数, TOEFL (Test of English as a Foreign Language), DET(多邻国英语考试)或CAE(剑桥英语:高级)或符合豁免资格.

  • Testing Requirements

    为了具有竞争力，学生应提交以下分数之一:

    • IELTS (国际英语语言测试系统):雅思成绩6分.5 or higher with no band score below 5.5.
    • Duolingo English Test: A DET score of 115 or higher, with no subscores below 105 for Literacy, Comprehension, and Conversation or below 95 for Production.
    • CAE (剑桥高级英语证书):CAE成绩达到C或以上.

     

    Please note: all score and subscore requirements must be met in a single test. 我们不接受超级成绩，也不接受考试超级成绩(如托福MyBest score)。. Test scores are valid for two years from the testing date.

  • Exemptions

    Please note that exemptions are not guaranteed, so we recommend that you take the TOEFL, IELTS, 如果你的母语不是英语，多邻国或剑桥考试作为申请过程的一部分. 在决定英语水平时，我们会考虑很多因素, 但如果你符合以下其中一项要求，我们会定期给予豁免:

Admission Standards

  • Academic achievement

    我们喜欢看到你挑战自我，在英语等科目上取得成功, math, social studies, science and foreign languages. 最好的申请者可以证明他们已经超过了最低要求，并且充分利用了他们的学术机会. That’s what you’ll be expected to do here at DU, 我们希望看到你们有动力和能力在最高水平上取得成功.

  • Grade Point Average

    • Average GPA for students accepted for Fall 2022: 3.83
    • Middle 50%: From 3.72 to 4.0 (Weighted) and 3.55 to 3.93 (Unweighted).
    • We’ll accept a weighted GPA if your school offers that option.
  • Standardized test scores

    • We do not consider subject test or writing sections.

    Some statistics for reference:

    • Average ACT score for students accepted for Fall 2022: 30. Middle 50%: 28-33.

  • Whole person assessment

We want to know you’ll do more than just attend your classes. We want you getting involved across campus and in the community.
